Electrical QA/QC Engineer

About the Role

We are looking qualified Electrical QA/QC Engineer (m/f/d) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for electrical installation and testing works in semiconductor facility projects.

This role ensures that all electrical systems — including LV power, control panels, grounding, and cable routing — meet German and EU standards (DGUV, DIN/VDE, EN60204-1, CE, VOB/B) and company quality requirements.

The position involves inspection, documentation review, testing supervision, and compliance verification for project acceptance and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), and quality procedures for electrical works.

• Inspect electrical installations such as switchboards, control panels, grounding, and cable tray systems for compliance and workmanship.

• Witness and document electrical testing, including insulation resistance, earth resistance, loop impedance, and functionality tests.

• Review and verify single-line diagrams, wiring drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation.

• Manage incoming inspections for electrical materials and verify conformity certificates (CE, CoC, RoHS, REACH).

• Track nonconformance reports (NCRs) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Supervise subcontractors' electrical QA/QC performance to ensure adherence to DGUV and DIN/VDE requirements.

• Support FAT/SAT, energization, and system commissioning inspections.

• Prepare test reports, inspection records, and final documentation packages (Dossier).

• Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance between site execution and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering (or related field).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical QA/QC or testing within industrial or semiconductor projects.

• Strong knowledge of German and EU standards (DGUV Regulation 3, DIN/VDE, EN60204-1, CE).

• Hands-on experience with electrical testing instruments (insulation testers, grounding testers, loop impedance meters, etc.).

• Ability to prepare and review test reports, NCRs, and quality documentation independently.

• Familiarity with CE, RoHS, and REACH documentation processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German language ability is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Elektrofachkraft or equivalent German electrical qualification.

• Holder of SCC/VCA, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, or EHS safety training certificate.

• Experience with German construction acceptance processes (Abnahme, Prüfprotokoll, Übergabe).

• Prior experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial projects.

• Knowledge of VOB/B, DGUV, and CE inspection requirements.

• Proven ability to work in multinational project teams and handle bilingual documentation (English/Chinese).
