Electronics Design Engineer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

• Transform high‑level product ideas into hardware concepts in collaboration with product owners, software, and mechanical design engineers.
• Conceptualise complete devices and work closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Design and simulate circuits and PCBs using EDA tools.
• Operate and verify circuitry, documenting performance results.
• Integrate devices with software components.
• Create test plans for PCBA and device manufacturing.
• Supply full documentation for PCBA manufacturing (Gerber, etc.).
• Provide in‑field device maintenance (e.g., discontinued parts).

Required Experience & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in electronic/electrical engineering.
• University degree in electronic/electrical engineering or equivalent (technician, dual education, etc.).
• Significant experience with Altium Designer or another EDA tool.
• Basic knowledge of digital circuit design principles.
• Experience designing analog circuits.
• Familiarity with PCB populating and lab equipment.
• Strong collaboration skills and empathy for colleagues.
• Capacity for independent decision‑making with minimal oversight.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with EMC/EMI concepts.
• Experience with HDI PCB design.
• Experience with cellular basebands and smartphone SoCs.
• Experience in SI/PI simulation or willingness to learn.
• Experience with Keysight ADS.
