Position: Electronics Developer

Location: Bremen, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full‑time

Tasks

• Maintenance of development‑related documentation (templates for specifications, design rules, manufacturing specifications)
• Design and implementation of real‑time applications
• Commissioning in‑house or at the customer’s premises
• Integration testing (FPGA and software)
• Development of programmable logic (FPGA, Xilinx UltraScale)
• Creation of development documents

Requirements

• Completed master’s/diploma degree in electrical engineering/electronics or comparable
• Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration (especially electronics, design, and embedded software)
• Good knowledge and preferably experience in the development of complex electronic assemblies, including firmware and FPGA components
• Knowledge of XILINX UltraScale/ARM architecture
• Knowledge of electronics and FPGA development
• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Structured and independent way of working
• Goal‑oriented, independent, and systematic way of working, as well as very good organizational skills
• Good team player

Must‑have

• In‑depth knowledge and experience in/with the Vivado toolchain
• In‑depth knowledge and experience in/with Xilinx MPSoCs, preferably UltraScale
• Solid experience in commissioning electronic hardware based on Xilinx MPSoCs
• Experience in commissioning communication interfaces, e.g., ETH, I2C, CAN, UART
• Solid knowledge of VHDL
• Advanced basic knowledge of Linux/Petalinux or hardware integration in Linux
• In‑depth knowledge and experience in/with simulation, test benching, and hardware debugging
• Experience in using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

Nice‑to‑have

• Knowledge of video protocols, e.g., CoaxPress, CamLink, MIPI, SDI, HDMI
• Knowledge of Yocto
• Experience in/with agile working methods and CD/CI
• Bash and Python skills
