Electronics Security Technician 4 - Frankfurt, Germany & 100% Travel

Responsibilities

• Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
• Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
• Programming and installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
• Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; performing take-offs from project drawings; creating and documenting daily reports and project progress.
• Document and track RFIs; design assist and provide feedback.
• Documenting daily reports and project progress; communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management.
• Create and manage project schedule; integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
• Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
• Guide and mentor technicians.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type : No Clearance is Required.

Key Requirements

• Requires a valid driver’s license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
• Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.
• 100% travel is required.

Education

• HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities

Required Progressive Experience

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications

• Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch products, AIphone Intercom Systems, Windows operating systems & certifications), with experience in installation of said systems.

Pay Range

USD $36.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
