Electronics technician for energy and building technology (m/f/d)

We are IMS Kommunikationstechnik GmbH - based in Leipzig. We are a manufacturer-independent provider of services for operators of public and private communication networks, with many years of experience. For our customers, we plan and maintain modern infrastructure and system technology components in the areas of telecommunications, building services, and energy technology.

What is the job about?

You are the electrical specialist in the team who connects, tests, and approves installations.

Your future area of responsibility:

• You will set up and install electrical systems and get them up and running at our radio sites.
• You install new meter points.
• You are also responsible for the connections to lightning protection and earthing systems.
• You will test electrical systems and create protocols in accordance with DIN VDE.
• You carry out the acceptance of installations, measure whether the connection is correct, and record everything in writing.
• You also take care of paperwork: reviewing plans, filing photos and data, and filling in simple tables.

What you bring with you:

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for energy and building services engineering, electrician, or comparable training.
• Professional experience in the field of energy and building services engineering is desirable.
• You have the desire to develop yourself further, e.g., through specialized further training.
• You are able to organize your own time and your working day.
• Working at height is not a problem for you; after all, you enjoy the view.
• You should be able to work with a computer.
• Class B driving license (you travel a lot).
