Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next‑generation devices to volume production quickly and cost‑effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost‑effective manufacturing.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• Entwicklung von Microcontroller‑Baugruppen zur Ansteuerung von Sensoren und Aktoren inklusive der dazugehörigen Software.
• Konzeption und Realisierung komplexer Elektronikbaugruppen auf Basis von DSP- und FPGA-Technologien.
• Aufbau, Inbetriebnahme und Test der Baugruppen sowie Integration in anspruchsvolle Messgeräte.
• Entwicklung von Testumgebungen (Hard- und Software) zur Qualitätssicherung.
• Erstellung von fertigungs- und funktionsbeschreibender Dokumentation.
• Koordination von Entwicklungskooperationen und enge Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Teams.
• Mitwirkung bei der Konzeption zukünftiger Messgeräteintegrationen.

Minimum Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik mit Schwerpunkt Mess- und Regelungstechnik oder Mikroelektronik.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Elektronikentwicklung, idealerweise in der Halbleiterbranche.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Signalverarbeitung und Regelungstechnik (analog/digital).
• Erfahrung in Fehleranalyse und Aufbereitung von Sensorsignalen.
• Kenntnisse zu EMV-Anforderungen und elektrischer Sicherheit.
• Sicherer Umgang mit Entwicklungstools (z. B. Matlab, C‑Compiler, Emulatoren).
• Kenntnisse in CPLD- und FPGA‑Design (Xilinx ISE / Lattice ispLever von Vorteil).
