We are a technology-driven team passionate about building secure, high-performance embedded systems. To strengthen our embedded software group, we’re looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Engineer who enjoys working close to the system, thinking holistically, and bringing complex platforms to life.

Please note: This role requires German language skills at B2 level or higher .

Your Role – What You’ll Be Working On

• Embedded Linux & BSPs – Develop, integrate, and maintain BSPs across different hardware platforms.
• Root Filesystems – Create and maintain RootFS for embedded Linux systems with a holistic system view.
• System Design – Contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performance embedded Linux architectures.
• Security – Implement Secure Boot and Secure Update to protect system integrity.
• Performance & Debugging – Optimise boot times, analyse performance, and debug issues up to kernel level.
• Collaboration – Work closely with hardware, software, and external partners on end-to-end solutions.

Your Background – What You Bring With You

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or a comparable technical field.
• 3 years+ of hands‑on experience in Embedded Linux development , including architectural understanding.
• Strong knowledge of operating system concepts and Linux internals.
• Practical knowledge with security concepts across the development lifecycle.
• Confident communication in German (B2+) , both written and spoken.
• A genuine passion for embedded systems and curiosity for new technologies.
