Contract: Up to 24 months | 40h/week

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Embedded Python Test Engineers to join our client in Munich, Germany . This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in Python test automation, embedded systems, and software quality assurance , who want to work on high-performance, security-focused technology products in an agile environment .

As an Embedded Python Tester , you will:

• Design, develop, and automate Python tests for embedded devices.
• Integrate testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines .
• Maintain and enhance test frameworks and infrastructure .
• Create and update software quality documentation .
• Collaborate within an agile software development team .
• Coordinate with firmware, hardware, and software engineers .
• Integrate software modules and perform functional and hardware-level verification .
• Support device integration into full system architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics , or related field.
• Strong experience in:
• Python for test automation
• Software testing, integration, and quality assurance
• Good understanding of:
• Communication protocols
• Git or other version control systems
• Object-oriented development
• C/C++, embedded Linux, and digital circuit fundamentals
• Preferred experience (not mandatory):
• C#, systemd/dbus
• Safety or security-critical environments
• ISTQB certification
• Languages:
