Overview

Embedded Software Engineer – Linux / Firmware / C/C++ (m/f/d). Join a cross-functional R&D team developing cutting-edge embedded software for intelligent systems used in industrial and embedded applications. You\'ll work on both low-level firmware and high-level embedded Linux systems from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and drivers for embedded Linux platforms
• Program firmware for embedded microcontroller platforms
• Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing
• Support hardware-near software development, including system and kernel-level drivers
• Create technical documentation for software modules and system architecture
• Collaborate throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept through to mass production

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with modern development tools (e.g. Git)
• Extensive experience in embedded Linux development (preferably with Yocto, including application and kernel space)
• Basic understanding of electrical and digital circuit principles
• Independent and structured working style with good collaboration skills
• Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
