Responsibilities
- Scope customer and solution requirements using consultative workshops, analytical techniques, customer visits, use cases, and scenarios.
- Translate the requirements into architectures and solutions delivered by Lenovo.
- Create business case collateral and cost solutions across the full end‑user spectrum.
- Drive the technical certification and validation for all opportunities across customers, solutions, and architecture.
- Think and act strategically, anticipate future trends, and develop solution visions.
- Challenge existing processes to ensure the best value solution is provided.
- Understand financial modelling and leasing concepts.
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of technology, processes, tools, and tool‑sets across the industry and industry verticals.
- Autonomously work across regions and functions to achieve results with minimal supervision.
- Develop, maintain, and cultivate strong trusted and meaningful customer relationships at all levels, through a deep understanding of their business and business needs.
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to interpret customers’ business and technical requirements and translate them into IT services and solutions that add real business value.
- Must have a deep understanding of digital workplace architectures, in support of complex customer engagements, and transformation programs.
- Must have end‑user workplace environment high‑level technical knowledge, including business value, use cases, and transition and transformation expertise.
- Must have experience in creating and presenting business cases that outline business benefits and show value‑add and cost savings.
- Must have experience solutioning large, complex deals, including experience creating and utilizing IT services’ cost/finance models and commercial documents, and can articulate, present, and use these to key business stakeholders.
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in requirements definition, and be experienced in project management, change management, and problem solving in a service business environment. Industry‑recognised accreditations in technology, solution architecture, consulting, and project management frameworks, approaches, and methodologies are a significant advantage.
- Must be multilingual (English, local language, etc.).
- Understands and adheres to corporate governance policies and processes.
- Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result needed to all levels of audience up to and including CXO.
- Experience with process improvements across regions within an organization required.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, customers, and other employees.
- Infrastructure, datacenter, and network pre‑sales skills are beneficial.
- Ability to coach, educate, and mentor others.
