To drive the smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a forward-thinking and experienced Energy Data Analyst Manager to lead Entrix’s analytics initiatives, shape company-wide learning from data, and contribute to the success of our core product.

Your Responsibilities

As a Energy Data Analyst Manager, you will play a leading role in shaping Entrix’s analytics strategy, driving cross-functional alignment, and amplifying business impact through data. You will act as the lead for the data analytics team at Entrix. You will be the mentor, and trusted advisor, guiding others through expertise, collaboration, and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product & market analytics: Analyze trading algorithm performance, market behavior to provide actionable insights to improve performance.
• Drive strategic insights: Partner with leadership on data-driven decision-making, providing actionable recommendations that shape Entrix’s product roadmap and business priorities.
• Lead, mentor & develop: Lead the analytics team through hands‑on mentorship, career development, and technical guidance, building a high‑performing, continuously improving analytics function.
• Align cross‑functional analytics: Coordinate analytics efforts across teams, ensuring priorities are aligned and there is effective cross‑functional collaboration across product, engineering, data science, and commercial domains.
• Enable data‑driven learning: Develop and maintain analytics frameworks, KPIs, and tooling. Ensure insights are embedded into processes, promoting continuous learning and operational excellence.
• Engage with stakeholders: Being able to jump into deep‑dives on certain findings with (external) stakeholders, tailoring insights to match the stakeholder needs.

Your Profile

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience as (a mix of) data analyst, data scientist, software engineering, energy trader or researcher, ideally within energy, trading, or SaaS sectors.
• Deep expertise in energy markets and flexibility optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and applied statistical methods (hypothesis testing, A/B testing, time series analysis, descriptive & predictive analytics).
• Strong understanding of cloud development principles and core AWS components.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional analytical projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels (including executive and customer‑facing roles).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Skills that set you apart

• Experience in high‑growth startups or scale‑ups.
• Hands‑on knowledge of trading algorithms, optimization models, or market simulations.
• Advanced data visualization capabilities (Grafana, Plotly, custom dashboards).
• Strong technical foundation in energy storage systems (especially BESS).
• Proven experience in creation of analytical platforms in close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Proven people leadership experience.
• Familiarity with software development best practices.

This role is not a fit if…

• You are mainly experienced with no‑code BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) without strong coding skills.
• You are not passionate about energy markets and their complexities.
• You are uncomfortable working with ambiguity, rapid experimentation, and evolving priorities.
