About the Opportunity: Engineer I, Android to join Delivery Hero’s 2026 Tech Grad Program. You will learn and develop your skills with mentors from our engineering organization and contribute to cutting-edge tech solutions.

Our Engineering organization consists of over 1,500 engineers across major verticals including Consumer Data Products, FinTech, Logistics, Pandora, Platform, Quick Commerce, and Vendor Tech. Projects range from boosting customer acquisition and retention to improving experiences for vendors, building a robust logistics ecosystem, and enabling financial empowerment for stakeholders.

Important information about this Position

We may pilot a new hiring model for 2026. The job opportunity will be open for 4–6 weeks to collect applications. If your application progresses, you will go through our standard interview process: recruiter call, coding, technical concepts interview, and hiring manager interview. If feedback is positive, you will be placed in a pool of offerable candidates and contacted for next steps when an Android Engineer I role becomes available.

This role will stay open for applications until February 15, 2026.

What you need to be Successful

To be eligible for the program, you must:

• Have the right to live and work in Germany.

• Candidates within the EU may apply if the above criteria are met.

• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. If graduated, you may have a maximum of 2 years of experience in similar fields. Coding bootcamp graduates (recent/upcoming) are eligible and do not need the degree requirement if you have 6–12 months of internship/bootcamp experience.

• Have a good understanding of and experience with coding in relevant languages and technologies (from internships, bootcamps, or open-source projects).

• Be an analytical thinker and strong problem solver with a humble, inquisitive approach.

• Have good communication and collaboration skills.

• Be business fluent in English.

• Be excited about working in a fast-moving, agile company where we learn from our mistakes.

Technical skills we look for

• SQL, NoSQL, cloud services (AWS), data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift).

Generally, curiosity to learn new technologies is expected.
