Ambu is currently looking for anExperienced R&D Engineer to join our Mechanical Design team . In this role, you will join a passionate team of engineers, all withdifferent backgrounds, collaborating to drive our continued product innovation.You can expect to use yourstrong designbackground to broaden your experience across the full development cycle, ensuring continued professional and technical development.
In this position, you willlikely thrivethe most if you naturally tend to take charge and support your colleagues. You may be a strong mechanical designer in your field, or a design lead, butregardlessyou will highly identify with our values of Taking Charge and Team Up. If you have experience in driving technical development, that will certainly help you succeed in this role.
The role is based atour Innovation Site in Augsburg, Germany.

Ideally, you can assess manufacturability from a designer’s perspective and bring practical, hands‑on insights rather than purely academic approaches. Experience with micromanufacturing or integrating design for small metal and plastic parts will be considered an advantage. We welcome candidates withexpertisein microparts, andpreviousexperience with hearing aids or similar precision devices would be a strong plus.
