Engineering Manager, Python/TypeScript (m/f/d)

Senior Engineering Manager

Lead one of our engineering teams, developing software that improves our customers' daily productivity.

With your team, plan, architect & develop applications within the team’s tech stack, which includes Python, Rest API, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, Flask, React and Node.js in TypeScript, running on AWS.

Work closely with Product Owners, Designers & the team’s Scrum Master to create high-quality features that delight our customers.

Collaborate closely with fellow Engineering Managers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions on the team and on the cross-team level, ensuring the overall excellence of our software platform.

Think outside the box and bring your ideas to improve our product or increase our developer experience to the table.

Your profile

• Experienced in people leadership and team management as a "playing coach" in a software engineering team.
• Hands‑on with coding, comfortable in both backend and frontend, with experience in complex architectures or single‑page applications.
• Strong knowledge of Python, and good idea about TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Power user of AI‑based tools (ideally experienced with GitHub Copilot), and able to boost your and your team’s productivity safely and responsibly.
• Knowledge of using LLMs as components of software architecture and as a means of delivering customer value.
• Experience building cloud applications on AWS.
• Write well‑structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the code base quality in check.
• Excellent analytical & problem‑solving skills and a solution‑oriented & KPI‑driven working style.
• Strong communicator; English at a very good level (>C1).
