Position Overview

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth, deepen customer engagement, and shape the future of how businesses use our cutting‑edge solutions. Success means expanding product adoption among current customers and acquiring new clients to our platform. This high‑impact, individual‑contributor role requires strategic vision, proactive relationship building, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build deep knowledge of and expertise in Diligent’s products, solutions, strategy, and business priorities.
  • Prospect new and existing business within the designated vertical/territory for complex accounts with longer sales cycles.
  • Adopt a solutions selling approach, understanding customer needs and developing solutions through the lens of the Diligent One Platform.
  • Build deep relationships with prospects and customers, honoring commitments and connecting them to internal stakeholders to foster product growth.
  • Execute account plans to meet revenue targets, quota and customer business needs, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive integrated joint wins.
  • Coordinate sales stakeholders to prioritise actions for multiple accounts based on customer needs and account risks.
  • Develop specialised business plans that drive outcomes, generating new business and upsells, and present these plans to customers.
  • Create and lead feedback loops with product management and marketing to relay customer pain points.
  • Demonstrate sales excellence, managing the end‑to‑end cycle from opportunity to close using Diligent’s approved methodology.
  • Use sales tools to prospect leads, schedule meetings, increase win rates, and generate bookings.
  • Maintain SFDC records, forecast, and report on projected bookings and deals closed.
  • Show deep understanding of the competitor landscape and customers’ business strategies.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of account management or new business acquisition, exceeding revenue targets within the GRC space.
  • Proven experience with MEDDIC, Challenger, and command of the message.
  • Ability to build trust and influence senior leaders at all organisational levels.
  • Passion for continuous learning and strong understanding of internal products and external industry trends.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that inspire confidence and drive outcomes.
  • Skill in aligning technology solutions with business objectives to deliver measurable value.
  • Self‑motivation, resilience, and a results‑driven approach for a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in German.
