To support our growth, we are looking for a :

Environmental Engineer (m / f)

Location: Wiesbaden

Permanent Contract

Your main tasks will be :

TO VERIFY ENVIRONMENTAL FILES

• Check that the initial impact studies are aligned with the compliance requirements
• Check, correct and finalize impact studies and other regulatory files
• Ensure the quality and completeness of documents before sending them to the authorities or internal bodies

TO PREPARE TECHNICALFILES

• Prepare technical and decision-making meetings by summarizing environmental issues
• Present issues in an educational manner (maps, illustrations, visual aids)
• Propose and argue for environmental measures to be implemented on projects
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to find compromises between different aspects of the project while complying with environmental standards
• Ensure communication and follow-up with external design offices throughout the assignments

TO MONITOR REGULATIONS

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to environmental and renewable energy sector
• Inform project teams of the potential impacts of new regulations on ongoing and upcoming projects

Expected skills

You hold a degree in ecological engineering and can demonstrate solid experience in environmental management and monitoring. You also have strong knowledge of ecological practices.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken, in German and English are essential.

Experience in renewable energy projects would be considered an asset.
