Environmental Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: Wiesbaden
Permanent Contract
Your main tasks will be :
TO CHECK FILES
- Reread and check the initial impact studies to ensure they are consistent and compliant
- Reread, correct and finalise impact studies and other regulatory files (DDEP, land clearing files, DLE, etc.)
- Ensure the quality and completeness of documents before sending them to the authorities or internal bodies
TO MANAGE FILES
- Prepare technical and decision-making bodies by summarising environmental issues
- Present issues in an educational manner (maps, illustrations, visual aids)
- Propose and argue for environmental measures to be implemented on projects
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to find compromises between the different aspects of the project while complying with environmental standards
- Ensure communication and follow-up with external design offices throughout the assignments
TO MONITOR REGULATIONS
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in the field of the environment and renewable energies.
- Inform teams of the potential impacts of new regulations on projects
Expected skills
You hold a degree in ecological engineering and can demonstrate solid experience in environmental management and monitoring and you also have strong knowledge of ecological practices.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken, in German and English are essential.
Experience in renewable energy projects would be considered an asset.
