Overview

ISS is growing! We are seeking multi‑faceted interactive and dynamic professionals at all levels who are interested in the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and sustainable finance domain. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert on ISS ESG solutions spanning corporate sustainability ratings, ESG controversy screenings, SDG impact measurement, climate research, sustainable finance regulatory solutions (EU Taxonomy, SFDR, PAI), and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist clients with queries on research content and methodology and provide technical assistance on online platforms and data delivery.
  • Build a bridge between client/market needs and internal departments, provide feedback on needed products/services, and help prioritize product development.
  • Collaborate with sales account executives to assist potential and existing clients with information needs.
  • Coordinate with the data deliverable team to set up regular or ad‑hoc data deliveries for clients and interact with the research team to gain deeper topic insight.

Qualifications

  • Team player with collaborative mindset and positive can‑do outlook.
  • Fluency in German (full professional proficiency) and English.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively seek solutions.
  • Ability to understand a broad stakeholder landscape and multiple work processes and interlinkages.
  • Strong project, time management, organizational, multi‑tasking skills.
  • Willingness to investigate and dig into details of data and screens.
  • Strong interest in ESG and responsible investment.
  • Experience or strong interest in client‑facing roles and ability to understand key client needs.
  • Candidates with varying levels of work experience may apply.
