We are seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial General Manager, Europe to spearhead the client's expansion and operations across the region. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role ideal for a dynamic executive who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our European strategy , building regional partnerships , driving market entry , and representing the company's vision to stakeholders, regulators, and collaborators across the continent.
Strategic Expansion: Develop and execute European growth strategy, including market entry, partnerships, and regulatory pathways.
Leadership & Operations: Establish and lead the European headquarters and team, ensuring operational excellence across functions such as commercial, medical, regulatory, and business development.
Partnership Development: Build strong relationships with biotech and pharma partners, academic institutions, investors, and government bodies.
Commercial Growth: Identify and pursue business opportunities, licensing deals, and collaborations that drive sustainable growth.
Cultural Integration: Serve as the key bridge between Chinese headquarters and European stakeholders, ensuring alignment in strategy, culture, and communication.
Public Representation: Represent the companyat industry conferences, regulatory meetings, and media engagements, enhancing our visibility and credibility in Europe.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors.
Deep understanding of European regulatory environments , market dynamics, and industry networks.
Proven record in establishing and scaling regional operations or subsidiaries for global companies.
Strong business development acumen experience in partnerships, licensing, or M&A is a plus.
Native proficiency in Mandarin ; Fluency in English AND another European language is a strong advantage. The role would require regular interactions with China and Singapore based counterparts in both Commercial and R&D functions.
