What you can expect

• You proactively analyze the existing IT landscape to derive both functional and technical needs for action, and you develop a target IT landscape aligned with strategic goals and the business model, including a roadmap.
• Building, evolving, and managing the continuous maintenance of the EAM repository, as well as establishing an application portfolio and lifecycle management, are part of your responsibilities.
• You support the development of structures and processes to transform the company toward a data-driven business model.
• This includes topics such as cloud management, master data management, and integration architecture, where you collect all architecture-relevant functional and technical data and establish relationships between them.
• Defining and continuously reviewing architectural principles, as well as developing processes, models, methods, and tools for EAM, along with defining software architecture standards and rules, are tasks you handle with ease.
• You advise and guide departments and projects (product and project teams) on architecture-related issues and support the selection and development of relevant enterprise capabilities.
• Additionally, you assist in selecting optimal software architecture solutions (best of breed / best in class) and lead the IT Architecture Board (ITAB) as the authoritative body for architectural decisions.

What makes you stand out

• You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with an IT focus.
• You bring many years of experience in enterprise architecture or IT strategy consulting.
• You possess excellent knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management and common EAM methods and frameworks, as well as in IT and digitalization. Experience in software development is a plus.
• You confidently navigate the tension between IT architecture goals and the realities of project management.
• Your initiative, structured and independent working style, and analytical thinking set you apart.
• You have strong communication and presentation skills and impress with your charismatic, open-minded personality.
• Your excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
