Job Description
Based at our global headquarters, you will source a selection of goods for all our country subsidiaries, focusing on our Food segment. We seek an Expert Global Procurement Food (m/f/d) to elevate our assortment and drive business growth. You will join a department that combines Global Sourcing and Business Development, emphasizing a holistic procurement approach. Your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing international market trends, coordinating with sourcing teams globally, and developing innovative business solutions.
- Developing, negotiating, and implementing the Global Own Brand Range across 22 countries.
- Managing cross-functional teams (Packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing) through the Own Brand process.
- Harmonizing product ranges with country subsidiaries to leverage economies of scale.
- Monitoring supplier capacity, coverage, e-sourcing status, and reporting on prices, volumes, and contracts.
- Negotiating global service contracts with strategic suppliers to foster year-over-year incremental investments and joint growth.
- Maximizing the implementation of agreed services aligned with country-specific value creation plans.
- Comparing RFQ inputs to negotiate optimal quality and price ratios.
- Conducting performance review meetings with strategic suppliers.
- Reviewing KPIs and ensuring accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in food commodities/FMCG at an international level.
- Strong interest in food product development and understanding of HoReCa customer needs.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record in category management and supplier negotiations globally.
- Leadership qualities with experience in leading diverse stakeholders without formal authority.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment in stakeholder engagement.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Willingness to travel for trade fairs, factory, and country visits.
- Fluent in English.
