Expert* Steering Systems Controls

Valentum Engineering has its roots in the automotive industry. After successfully establishing ourselves as a development partner for well-known vehicle manufacturers, automotive suppliers and system suppliers, numerous customers from other industries now also rely on our support. We are active in all development phases - from specification to software/hardware development and validation through to testing.
We are seeking a skilled candidate* in feature development for steering systems and Steer-by-Wire (SbW) systems for human and Autonomous Driving Solution (ADS) features.
The ideal candidate* will have deep understanding and interest in modeling of steering and SbW functions and features. Your role in a multidisciplinary team requires collaboration with our global research and development community. Your will be working on future trends of technologies, architectures, requirements in Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics

• Develop control algorithms for SbW systems. Validate advanced control strategies using Model Predictive Control (MPC), PID controllers, or adaptive and robust control techniques.
• Identify and monitor future technologies trends in automotive and support product strategy.
• Provide deeper understanding of the state of EU's technology industry

• Master’s or higher degree in Automotive Engineering Control Systems or a related field, with a focus on vehicle dynamics.
• Experience in developing control systems for steering systems and SbW systems.
• Deep understanding of steering principles, kinematics, and control theory.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Octave/C/C++/or related tools for modeling and simulation.
• Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team and fluent communication skills in English.
