Export Finance Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Identify potential structured export financing solutions adapted to the client needs and all risks and constraints associated with the selected financing solution.
• Participate in the identification, origination, structuring and execution of export finance transactions.
• Participate in the advisory and arrangement of cross-border non‑recourse projects.
• Work with complex structured products that require specific technical knowledge and commercial expertise.
• Work in an international environment, in a multicultural and matrixial organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience, ideally in Export Finance (including Credit Application process, Term Sheet, Loan Documentation, Credit Insurance Policies, etc.).
• Experience in dealing with large corporate clients, sovereigns and public entities in an international context.
• Experience in working on complex structured products, ideally in export finance.
• Fluency in English and good knowledge in German (oral and in writing) are essential; knowledge of another language would be beneficial.
• Good knowledge in MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Business Insight

As Export Finance Officer you will identify, originate, structure and execute Export Finance Transactions for clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Canada through competitive and innovative export finance solutions while maintaining close contact to exporters and Export Credit Agencies (ECA) in these countries and being the expert of reference for these Export Credit Agencies products. You will also be involved in Project Finance transactions in Advisory or Arranging to the extent that any of the mentioned ECAs will be involved.
