Responsibilities

• Teach cloud data architecture fundamentals, including service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), OLTP vs. OLAP systems, and batch vs. streaming data processing.
• Deliver courses on modern data architectures such as Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lambda and Kappa architectures, and real‑time data design.
• Instruct students in distributed data processing with Apache Spark (architecture, RDDs, DataFrames, performance optimisation) and event‑driven streaming with Apache Kafka.
• Guide practical implementation of scalable data pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Supervise applied end‑to‑end cloud data engineering projects on Google Cloud Platform, integrating services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and IAM.

Your Profile

• University degree in Data Science or Computer Science, with a strong theoretical foundation and hands‑on experience in cloud‑based data engineering.
• Teaching experience in higher education and/or corporate experience implementing international business strategies.
• Experience with case‑based and discussion‑oriented teaching approaches.
• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written) and strong communication skills in multicultural classroom settings.
