We are looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer for DACH. Join our team at MCC!

The Field Application Engineer will be responsible for the technical support of our customers and Channel partners, primarily in EMEA region, with a clear focus on Discrete Semiconductor products (Diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs, IGBTs, SiC Technology, TVS & ESD protection Diodes)

Job Description

Work with MCC distribution partner and customers technical team to achieve design-win´s and increase account penetration
Special focus on SiC (Diodes/MOSFETs) and IGBT products.
Support the development of tools for sales promotion such as application kits or test boards, work with ICs partners on Ref. designs and support the creation of valuable content for promotion activities
Develop and drive strategic technical plans by customer solution (prepare customer presentations and product/application trainings).
Support the sales teams in identifying new opportunities by maintaining excellent relationship with customer’s technical team.
Interface with R&D and Product Marketing on new product definition and technology requirements.
Collect and summarize market intelligence information and provide feedback to the respective product team
Develop and drive strategic technical plans by customer solution (prepare customer presentations and product/application trainings).
Work in a team regionally or globally to achieve assigned tasks and objectives
Attend and actively participate in strategic region meetings

Job Qualifications

Relevant educational background (technical)
University degree (min. B.Sc. / B.Eng.) in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related subject, ideally with a focus relevant to power electronics.
Sound experience in technology sales
Fluent English, good skills in Spanish and/or other European languages
Excellent flexibility, motivation, and networking
Good understanding of different types of power semiconductors (IGBT, MOSFET, Diodes) and experience in selection of devices for different applications.
Adequate years of experience in the field of power electronics.
Negotiation skills with customers facing technical challenges.
Willingness to travel
