Field Application Engineer (m/w/d) – Radarsysteme & Hochfrequenztechnik (Defence)

MCA Germany – Nürnberg, Germany.

Proficiency in German (C1) and English is required.

Responsibilities

Technical support and advisory for customers in radar and high‑frequency systems.
Assistance with system integration, commissioning, and on‑site troubleshooting.
Conducting technical presentations, training sessions, and workshops for clients and partners.
Analysis of system requirements and development of custom solution concepts.
Close collaboration with development and sales teams to implement customer projects.
Validation of new hardware and software solutions in lab and field.
Preparation of technical documentation, test reports, and integration protocols.
Support for tenders and technical offers.

Qualifications

Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, or a comparable field.
Strong knowledge in high‑frequency technology, microwave technology, and radar technologies.
Experience in signal processing, antenna engineering, and measurement is an advantage.
Preferably experience in Defence, Aerospace or security industry.
Analytical and communicative skills.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and strong customer orientation.
Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
Security clearance (Ü2 or equivalent) desirable.
