Job Description

Field Marketing Manager (m,f,d) - ( )

Description

We’re rebuilding one of the most trusted names in fintech—and doing it like a startup.

MoneyGram has been a global leader in cross-border payments for decades, and now we’re entering our most exciting chapter yet: a full-speed, full-scale re-founding led by Anthony Sohoo, with the backing of private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners.

With a globally recognized brand, deep infrastructure across 200+ countries, and millions of loyal customers, the foundation is strong—and the scale is unreal. We’re now reimagining just how much further we can take it.

We’re rebuilding our growth engine - faster, smarter, and more customer-obsessed than ever. Fewer layers. Sharper strategy. Disciplined execution. A bias for action. We’re looking for bold operators and builders ready to run at this opportunity, shape the future of a scaled business, and leave their mark.

About This Role

We’re seeking a Marketing Manager (m,f,d), EU to execute high-impact marketing initiatives designed to drive new customer acquisition, increase transaction volumes, meet integrated market objectives and satisfy joint marketing commitments across Europe. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Europe & Africa, this role is responsible for implementing regional omnichannel marketing plans, driving agent/store productivity, and launching regional projects (new products, corridor campaigns, and service rollouts).

This is a hands‑on role that blends strategic planning with on‑the‑ground execution. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Agents, and our Marketing teams to deliver best‑in‑class activations, improve point‑of‑sale visibility, and build customer loyalty all with the aim of driving measurable growth.

What you’ll get to do

  • Marketing Campaigns Design & Roll‑Out
  • Plan and implement region‑specific campaigns to grow transactions and customer acquisition targets.
  • Adapt global playbooks to local needs and test new approaches in growth markets.
  • Track KPIs, report results, and share learnings to scale successful initiatives.
  • Agent Marketing Management
  • Lead co‑branded marketing activations with agents under regional contractual budgets to increase market share.
  • Launch communication of new products, services, or corridors through owned channels and paid media.
  • Ensure brand consistency and operational excellence at local level.
  • Asset Library Management
  • Manage and distribute digital and in‑store assets for the region (non‑co‑branded and co‑branded).
  • Coordinate with the central team for rapid development of tailored assets (2–5 day turnaround).
  • Provide regional insights, trends, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Prepare performance dashboards in collaboration with Marketing Analytics and Sales.
  • POS Visibility & Merchandising
  • Oversee execution of in‑store dressing, signage, and outdoor/indoor visibility to maximize local brand awareness.
  • Partner with local vendors and central team to ensure CAPEX/marketing spend is visible and effective.
  • Regional Project Launches
  • Lead the marketing execution of new product or service launches in the assigned markets.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Operations, Creative, Media Agency) to ensure timely go‑live.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of extensive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in field, retail, or activation marketing within a multi‑country environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level, to include implementation and budgetary management on a regional level.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Operations, and external partners.
  • Highly numerate – able to interpret, analyze and manipulate numerical/financial data.
  • Proven ability to manage marketing budgets, campaigns, and multi‑channel activations with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of performance tracking tools (Looker, Essbase, Cognos or similar).
  • Comfortable with both hands‑on field visits and stakeholder presentations.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team that will be based in various international locations.
  • Based in Europe with flexibility to travel to assigned markets.
