Field Service Engineer (m/f/x) – Onto Innovation

Location: Stuttgart or Reutlingen, Germany.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Responsible for Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Onto Innovation products, including Metrology and Inspection tools.
Install new tools within the European region; completing Engineering and Applications tasks.
Respond to down tool situations across Europe and provide Maintenance when required.
Document correctly and provide feedback to US factory as needed.
Provide feedback to sales team; help identify possible leads for future sales.
Provide applications feedback for continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business.
Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection; experience in electrical, mechanical, and software.
Preferred experience in Semiconductor applications.
College/University degree or several years of professional experience in engineering/E&I.
Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Ability to travel regularly throughout Europe (~40% of time).
