Finance Business Partner (m/f/d) - Energy Assets

In this role, you will support the Energy Assets function with strong financial expertise, acting as a key partner to the business and senior management. You will drive transparency on financial performance, contribute to effective decision-making, and play an active role in shaping the company’s transformation towards a sustainable, net-zero energy future.

  • Provide financial guidance and support to the Energy Assets function, ensuring transparency on performance for management
  • Analyze financial results, challenge deviations, and drive continuous business improvement
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner, aligning operational and financial objectives
  • Lead and coordinate planning and forecasting processes (mid-term planning, forecasts)
  • Support management in financial steering and performance management
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives across Energy Assets business lines
  • Oversee cost controlling for selected functions
  • Drive digitalization and optimization of controlling processes and tools
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects representing Business Controlling

Deine Qualifikationen

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in controlling or finance, ideally in a complex organization and preferably within the energy sector
  • Strong expertise in financial controlling, including KPIs (EBITDA, OPEX, CAPEX, cash flow), DCF valuations, and IFRS reporting
  • Experience with SAP and Tagetik required; Power BI is an advantage
  • Proven ability to translate complex business topics into meaningful financial insights
  • Proactive, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial topics clearly to business and management audiences
  • Fluent in English; German and additional languages are a plus
  • Strong interest in contributing to a dynamic, international team environment
