Finance Manager - 12-month Fixed Term Contract (with potential for extension)

Location: Berlin | Hybrid

In this role, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders and provide expert guidance on German GAAP, tax, and financial performance, helping us drive smarter decisions and shape the future of our business.

What you’ll do

• Support accurate financial reporting under German GAAP and local tax regulations
• Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to senior leaders across the business
• Drive budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis – and spot opportunities for improvement
• Ensure tax compliance and manage external relationships with advisors and authorities
• Collaborate across functions to enhance financial performance
• Lead or support internal audits, risk initiatives, and ad-hoc financial projects
• Present insights and strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence

Qualifications

What you bring

Native level German is a must (written and spoken)

Recognised qualification in accounting and / or tax (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter*in IHK, Steuerberater*in, or equivalent academic degree)

Solid background in finance, with Q strong expertise in German GAAP and tax regulations
