ABOUT THE JOB

• Rresponsible for the controlling function, focus on production & product development related activities in Shanghai MH plant
• Manage SAP costing process, to provide detailed cost analysis & profitability analysis. Analyse cost drivers and variances and propose corrective or potential cost saving measures. Manage export ICY price, influence sourcing decisions with fact-based analysis
• As the business partner of plant manufacturing team, provide independent financial insights while driving performance delivery. Direct and develop site finance (1pax) in support of all aspects of financial management and value creation initiatives related to manufacturing.
• Liaison and coordinate with other finance functions, as well as group finance in enhancing the support in business operations

WHAT YOU WILL DO

To supervise/manage the standard & actual production costing functions

To review and analyse production variances in materials, labour costs, and plant overhead. Support Production and Process & Technology Dept to review the production result and look for cost saving and efficiency improvement opportunities

Manage production P&L, lead plant financial planning & budgeting processes, drive result delivery.

Lead China inter-company transfer price calculation and cost benchmarking, influence sourcing decisions with fact-based analysis

Liaising with external and internal related audit teams with respect to factory operations

As the representative in Finance, to coordinate with the IT colleagues in maintaining finance related module in SAP

Other ad hoc tasks assigned

WHAT WE WANT YOU

University Degree level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Commercial discipline

4 years’ working experience at supervisory level with manufacturing and MNC background

Knowledge to manage standard costing in SAP environment, familiar in FICO/PP/MM module

Familiar with Microsoft Excel, PPT; preferable but not necessary Power BI and other digital tools.

Strong analytical skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Effective/efficient way of working in cross functional teams.

Fluent in English (and Mandarin) both in oral and written

A self-starter, who independently looks for where they can add value in a dynamic environment
