Do you have several years of experience in financial accounting and would you like to take on responsibility for accounting in our company and develop this area independently? Then we look forward to getting to know you!

Your Tasks

• Independent development of the accounting department: You will develop and structure the accounting processes for our company, from invoicing to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Bookkeeping: You will take over the day-to-day bookkeeping, ensure regular reconciliation of accounts and prepare business analyses (BWA)
• Invoicing and dunning: You will be responsible for issuing invoices and monitoring incoming payments, including dunning
• Expense reports: You will check employees' expense reports and post them accordingly
• Controlling: You will develop controlling processes and prepare reports for the management
• Communication with the tax advisor: You will work closely with our tax advisor, particularly in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns
• Optimisation of accounting processes: You will identify and implement opportunities for automation and improvement of processes

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training, ideally in accounting or taxation
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in a management consultancy or similar environment
• Confident use of MS Office and willingness to learn new accounting software
• Very good knowledge of accounting and tax law and in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Independent and structured way of working as well as a high degree of reliability and diligence
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain even complex issues in an understandable way
• Experience in setting up and designing processes is an advantage
