Your responsibilities

• Review and posting of incoming invoices in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), taking local VAT regulations into account
• Execution of payment transactions and recording of bank movements
• Management of fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation processes
• Account reconciliation, clarification of open items, and intercompany reconciliations
• Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Participation in projects such as optimizing intercompany reconciliation, further developing closing processes, and digitizing accounting workflows

Your profile

• You have completed a commercial education, ideally with further training as a certified accountant or possess a comparable qualification
• You have several years of experience in accounting and a good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) is desirable
• You have experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
• You have a very good command of German and English
• You possess analytical thinking and a strong affinity for numbers, as well as a structured, precise, and responsible way of working
• You are reliable, enjoy working in a team, and are willing to familiarize yourself with new topics
