Financial Controller EMEA

Overview

Job Summary: This position supports Finance in all relevant areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports
• Point of contact for all business-related questions
• Budget preparation and consolidation
• Ensuring reporting in SAP FI STRAVIS and MS Navision
• Analysis and provision of key performance indicators for management
• Preparation of variance analyses, including commentary
• Collaboration with external service providers (tax advisors, auditors, etc.)
• Participation in projects

Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling

Professional Experience

• Initial professional experience

Skills and Special Qualifications

• Good knowledge of controlling tools (budgeting and business planning, forecasts, reporting, variance analyses)
• Experience in supporting international subsidiaries
• Sound knowledge of a controlling system (e.g., ERP, SAP, Navision, STRAVIS)
• Knowledge of relevant balance sheet and Tax regulations
• Knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and J-SOX
• MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
