We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Financial Controller (f/m/x) to join our fast growing team in Berlin.
About the role
As (Junior) Financial Controller (f/m/x), you will work on several global and cross-functional projects to enhance customer satisfaction, profitability, innovation, process excellence, and employee performance. You will ensure smooth daily operations by providing analytical solutions to key issues and propose innovative process improvements.
Your responsibilities
- Support the team in reviewing operational and financial performance at the Country & Functional level.
- Contribute to more effective, efficient, and accurate financial processes (reporting, forecasting, budgeting), providing timely and insightful analyses.
- Improve the P&L Forecasting and Planning processes.
- Prepare analyses and presentations to communicate business and financial performance to management.
- Create accurate Business Plans and Budgets, including scenario analyses.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze deviations, and support management with ad-hoc scenario analyses.
- Support and coordinate controlling, planning, and reporting projects to improve internal functions.
Your profile
- Self-motivated, curious, eager to learn with strong analytical skills, adaptable to change, and skilled at multitasking.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- 1-2 years of experience in finance or controlling, with good understanding of accounting and financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
- Driven to improve business performance collaboratively with teams.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with motivation to develop further.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
