Role Summary

In this role, you are the heartbeat of crew operations for your assigned vessels. From recruitment and rotations to ensuring compliance with client and legal requirements, you make sure every ship sails efficiently. You coordinate across borders, solve problems creatively, and collaborate closely with a multicultural team that values teamwork, communication, and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and crew seafarers for your assigned vessels, ensuring full compliance with matrix, client, and legal requirements
• Plan and coordinate crew reliefs and rotations, providing smart alternatives to keep operations seamless
• Work closely with colleagues in Hamburg and globally across functions to ensure smooth processes and stakeholder satisfaction

Qualifications

• Commercial qualification or Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a shipping background or sailing experience
• Preferably 2 years of experience in Crew Operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Fluent in written and spoken English
