About The Role

Conduct flight testing for UAVs, document performance, collaborate on integration, and drive product improvements in a defense tech company.

The Flight Testing & Integration Engineer will be responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting flight testing activities for unmanned aerial systems. The role involves taking responsibility for product demonstrations, military exercises, and operator training sessions. The engineer will document performance data, analyze results, and drive product improvements. Collaboration with hardware and software teams is essential to ensure seamless integration of new features. The engineer will work directly with mission partners to plan and execute operations, understand challenges, and implement solutions. Additionally, the role requires developing a deep understanding of products, identifying opportunities for innovation through user feedback, and communicating insights to the development team.

Requirements

• Degree in Robotics, Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience with autonomous aerial systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to multitask and self-organize
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel
