Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Follow Spot Operator at The English Theatre Frankfurt, located in Frankfurt. The Follow Spot Operator will be responsible for operating the follow spot during performances, ensuring precise and consistent lighting on the actors. Daily tasks include collaborating with the lighting designer and stage crew, maintaining the follow spot equipment, and performing technical checks. The role requires keen attention to detail and coordination with other team members to deliver high-quality productions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating follow spot equipment and familiarity with various lighting techniques
• Experience working in a theatrical or live performance environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during long performances
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues under pressure
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Relevant technical training or certification is a plus
