Formulation Scientist – Nutraceutical Ingredients

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing formulations for nutraceutical applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure product stability, compliance, and performance, driving innovation from concept to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate products using botanical extracts (e.g., ashwagandha, curcumin), probiotics and prebiotics for the dietary supplement space.
• Conduct stability and compatibility studies for multi‑ingredient blends.
• Optimize formulations for powders, capsules, tablets, gummies, and functional beverages.
• Collaborate with R&D to explore novel delivery systems (liposomes, microencapsulation).
• Prepare technical documentation, prototypes, and application guidelines for customers.
• Stay updated on clean‑label trends, regulatory requirements, and scientific advancements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in nutraceutical formulation development.
• Knowledge of ingredient functionality, interactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem‑solving and project management skills.
