Energy markets are volatile complex and still running on outdated systems. At Zeus Energy we are creating the first AI-native full-stack energy supplier digital-first platform that helps businesses buy manage and optimize their energy with intelligence speed and transparency.

We are backed by Merantix Europe’s leading AI venture studio. At this early stage getting our story right and getting it out into the world is just as important as building the product. That’s where you come in.

Your role

We’re looking for a freelance Content & Communications Lead who can set up and run Zeus automated content marketing machine. You’ll shape our narrative design the workflows and make sure our story consistently reaches the right people from SMEs in traditional industries to investors and the broader energy ecosystem.

• Define Zeus narrative and tone of voice across all channels.
• Set up a scalable content workflow with automation tools (n8n or similar) to streamline publishing and repurposing.
• Produce high‑quality content for LinkedIn, Twitter / X and our blog mixing thought leadership with build‑in‑public updates.
• Develop early customer‑facing content (case studies, one‑pagers, sales collateral).
• Support external communications and light PR: press releases, founder op‑eds and trade/startup press outreach.
• Manage a small creative budget for design, photography or video support.
• Coordinate with founders and brand / UI designers to keep story and visuals aligned.
• Establish repeatable content & comms processes that can later be handed off or scaled.

Your profile

• 4 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting or communications.
• Proven ability to simplify complex topics into clear engaging stories.
• Hands‑on experience writing for B2B audiences (SaaS, energy, industrial or tech).
• Strong skills in social distribution (LinkedIn and Twitter / X especially).
• Comfortable with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier or similar).
• Fluent in English and German.
