Freelance Software Developer (f/m/d)

Are you a problem-solver who loves building great apps and collaborating with smart people? Do you enjoy clean code, meaningful client interactions, and sharing knowledge? If so, we’d love to meet you!

We are looking for someone to support our existing development team during peak times here at Hybrid Heroes.

What you'll do

• Create tailored solutions for client projects across different industries and tech stacks, blending innovation with technical expertise

• Write scalable and maintainable code while ensuring best practices

• Communicate directly with our clients, offering technical insights and consulting

• Work in a cross-functional team with our Project Management-, Design- and Testing Team

• Review and improve code written by teammates—because great code is a team effort

• Document your work, making life easier for future you (and everyone else)
  

  What we're looking for

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience working with React, React Native, or Next.js in a professional and agile environment

  • A self-starter who can work independently while staying aligned with the team

  • Strong communication skills - able to discuss technical concepts clearly with clients and teammates

  • Great at staying organized and noticing the little details to keep things running smoothly

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Bonus points: fluent German, start-up experience, backend skills (e.g. Node.js), native programming (Swift & Kotlin)
