Your Mission : Launch & Lead Germanys First Store

We are seeking a dynamic entrepreneurial Retail Area Manager to oversee the launch and operation of our clients first German retail store . This pivotal role involves managing every aspect of the store opening from selecting the ideal location and overseeing construction to coordinating suppliers and ensuring the store runs smoothly from day one.

You will work closely with the headquarters team in France and report directly to the European Expansion Director.

Key Responsibilities

Site Selection: Identify evaluate and secure the strategic location for the first German store.
Construction & Fit-Out: Oversee the store adaptation process including interior design electrical plumbing security signage and more.
Supplier & Contractor Management: Coordinate with local architects technicians and contractors to ensure the project meets deadlines budgets and quality standards.
Operational Readiness: Ensure the store is fully operational ahead of the opening handling everything from security systems to logistics and store equipment.
Post-Launch Oversight: Manage store operations during the critical early weeks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Future Expansion: Play a key role in supporting the rollout of additional stores in Germany and Spain building on the success of the first location.

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in retail management with a strong understanding of day-to-day retail operations.
Native-level French and fluent German are essential.
Highly autonomous proactive and results-driven with exceptional organizational skills.
Strong ability to manage budgets timelines and multiple stakeholders effectively.
Willingness to travel frequently across Germany; driving license required.
50% travel required for this role.
