Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Understand the company's technology, market and frequency challenges, analysing and recommending options, de‑risking and supporting implementation with stakeholders.
- Anticipate and develop opportunities to support the positioning and growth of Program Line businesses and products.
- Develop and implement technical/regulatory strategies to support sales, bids and tenders, securing orbit/spectrum resources mainly by handling access processes with national and international regulatory bodies.
- Share intelligence with programmes, business development, innovation, marketing and sales; negotiate bilateral agreements with neighbouring satellite operators to prevent interference.
- Contribute to the development of applications that facilitate, automate and optimise regulatory spectrum‑management activities: understand existing applications, define new functionalities, write specifications, design software architectures, and develop modules in MATLAB (and other languages).
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering with a scientific background (mathematics & physics) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of radio‑communications and satellite systems.
- Knowledge of International Radio Regulations.
- Programming skills in MATLAB, VBA and SQL.
- Customer‑orientated, reliable, autonomous, and self‑initiated.
- Strong interest in wireless communications.
- Team player, comfortable with multinational culture, able to influence.
- Negotiation skills in German and English.
- Minimum two years of experience in satellite systems engineering or frequency management for satellites.
- Willingness to travel for business trips in Europe and abroad, from one day up to one week every two months.
