HiCareer is supporting a remote-first SaaS company in hiring a Frontend Engineer. The company develops an analytics platform used by finance and operations teams to track performance in real-time. With usability and speed as key differentiators, the product team is adopting a modern stack (SvelteKit, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, GraphQL) and looking for someone who cares about performance, design, and accessibility.
You’ll join a product team of ~8 people, working closely with designers and backend developers in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new UI features with SvelteKit + TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma mockups into responsive, accessible interfaces
• Integrate GraphQL APIs with the frontend
• Optimise performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices
• Contribute to the design system and reusable component library

What Success Looks Like

• A polished new analytics module shipped with excellent usability
• Component library live and improving development speed
• User feedback shows higher satisfaction with design and performance
• Recognised as a key contributor in the product team

What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and modern frameworks (Svelte, Vue, React, etc.)
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and TailwindCSS
• Care for design, performance, and accessibility
• Open to AI-assisted workflows for faster coding and testing

Full-time employment - they use a payroll service provider.
