Frontend Software Engineer - Customer Experience (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our customer experience teams. You’ll work in a team focused on delivering one of the best e-commerce experiences possible on the web. Here, you will primarily build customer-facing features and components with a focus on performance, accessibility and maintainability.

As a Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll be helping us grow, maintain and improve the systems and components that drive our storefront. You will be a part of an international team in an agile environment.

Our Tech stack includes: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Storybook, Playwright, CircleCI, AWS, GraphQL.

• Build customer-facing components that are fast, lightweight, and easy to maintain
• Maintain and improve our growing component library
• Continuously improve customer experience by collaborating with UX Engineers, making use of advanced Browser and Next.js features
• Champion a positive user experience by maintaining high standards for Core Web Vitals, ensuring our website is fast, responsive, and visually stable
• Learn as much as you can to be the best that you can be and better support the team

• 2+ years of professional experience shipping high-quality products with React and Next.js
• Familiarity with App Router in Next.js is a plus
• You write clean, testable, and reusable code
• Skilled in developing and testing TypeScript web applications
• A good eye for responsive design and accessibility
• Excellent code reviewing skills and and a collaborative mindset
• Experience working with Node.js in a production environment
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• Hybrid working model: you have the flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays in our standard working mode. We are in the office together Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
