Your Opportunity, Your Team
- The Area Manager supports QVC, and will oversee the distribution operation department , partnering cross-functionally. You will manage to maintain departmental efficiency and meet productivity, volume and quality goals. You will work onsite and report to the Operational Manager.
Where You'll Work
- This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Suffolk FC daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You'll Do
- Lead Operation teams to support the high level of location accuracy, by achieving and implementing sound operating processes.
- Networks and consults with corporate and site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels are maintained.
- Build an engaged Culture by modeling Our Values and operating principles, ensuring all employees are treated fairly, ethically and respectfully.
- Review existing operations to determine what improvements can be made to department, which allow for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
- Identify, report, and communicate trends or irregularities experienced. Analyze deficiencies and developing plans to correct. Recommend and implement solutions by involving staff to obtain the best result .
- Partner with the corresponding manager to develop quality guidelines for specified job responsibilities. Support audit techniques and error capturing to ensure products and procedures exceed the established inventory and quality standards.
- You will work with necessary partners across the network to obtain agreement and implement corrective action measures.
- Obtain and demonstrate a working knowledge of all technologies used in their Distribution Center including CLIC, WMS, WAMAS, Pyramid, and CRM).
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated Leadership / Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Experience encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees
