About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and fast-moving Fullstack Developer to help scale BlazeSQLs AI-powered BI platform. Our product is live growing fast and already used by real customers your focus will be on adding new features improving the codebase and ensuring scalability.

You should be an exceptional engineer someone who writes high-quality code quickly thinks critically and understands how to build software in a team. Youll work across Flutter and Python closely collaborating with our Co-Founders to shape the product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our Flutter-based frontend ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Implement and optimize backend services using Python integrating with various APIs.
• Lead and contribute to integration testing ensuring high application stability.
• Collaborate closely with the team to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Work with Firebase to manage authentication real-time data and backend services.
• Help scale our infrastructure and improve system performance.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end from architecture to deployment.
• Actively participate in technical discussions bringing ideas and best practices to the table.

Requirements

Must have

• 4 years of Flutter (Web & Desktop) development experience including:
  • Riverpod for state management.
  • Firebase for backend services.
  • Writing and maintaining integration tests.
• 4 years of Python experience with a focus on backend development.
• Strong experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full development life cycle.
• A track record of building and shipping apps whether through side projects, open-source contributions or professional work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI technologies such as:
  • OpenAI API & Anthropic API.
  • Building AI-powered chatbots or autonomous agents.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.

• Experience in early-stage startups understanding the pace and adaptability required.
• You are recognized as a very good communicator. Flawless English is a must.
• You care deeply about your craft and are passionate about product development.
• You are a diligent executer taking end-to-end ownership in everything you do.
• Experience leading a team or key projects.
• Building and scaling a company excites you deeply. Prior founding experience or having built a product from the ground up is a plus.
