YOUR MISSION

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at GFR, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end aspects of our software applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable, high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users and contribute to the company's success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications, both front-end and back-end.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages and technologies such as (list relevant languages, frameworks, and tools).
• Implementing user interfaces and experiences that ensure high performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Building and maintaining databases, optimizing queries, and ensuring data security and integrity.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve software development processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or others, along with expertise in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring).
• Experience with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL), API development, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work in an agile environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Hybrid Role

This is a hybrid role, based in Berlin (top location) with an expectance to ideally be on-site/in office for 2 days a week.
