Functional AIT Engineer (m/f/d) for Airbus

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space we are looking for a Functional AIT Engineer (m/f/d) in temporary employment as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Prepare, execute and even lead complex test campaigns on any space specimen (either on subsystem level, instrument level or satellite level).
• Create and maintain test procedures, execute them and assess the test results critically.
• Strong capability to analyze and correlate events to their possible root causes, as well as finding pragmatic solutions to cope with time pressure without harming the flight hardware.
• Specify and follow the needed ground support equipment (GSE) required to qualify the space specimen.
• Exchange with the project teams to provide test strategies that suit best in terms of quality, time, and costs.
• Participate in non-conformances and support investigations, taking into account the company quality standards.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, aerospace, embedded systems, or a comparable qualification.
• More than three years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace.
• Experience working with critical hardware, especially subject to ESD damages.
• Good knowledge of MS-Office.
• Knowledge in Python, Matlab, and/or C/C++.
• Knowledge about electrical measurement techniques and data protocols (e.g., MILBUS, SpaceWire) would be a plus.
• Fluent in English; German would be a plus.
