Functional Safety Architect

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of functional safety architecture for ASIL B–D compliant SoCs, working directly with RTL and silicon teams to implement fault‑tolerant features such as ECC, lockstep, watchdogs, and BIST. Responsibilities

• Own and drive the safety architecture for ASIL B–D compliant SoCs
• Define, implement and validate safety features (ECC, lockstep, watchdogs, BIST, etc.)
• Lead safety analysis activities including FMEDA, FTA, HARA and DFA
• Engage directly with partners, assessors and certification bodies
• Incorporate SOTIF and cybersecurity standards into system‑level architecture
• Contribute to internal safety processes, tools and technical documentation

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in semiconductor‑level functional safety
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and hardware safety architecture
• Deep familiarity with RTL‑level fault handling and verification flows
• Confidence in leading safety assessments and audits
• Experience with safety tooling (e.g. Medini, Ansys) and safety documentation
• Ideally some exposure to AI/ML accelerators, SOTIF and ISO/SAE 21434
